And by service provider, I mean I’m talking coaches, healers, marketers, ghost writers, interior designers, gardeners… these 5 keys are for YOU!

For the last 6 years, I’ve been managing online program launches for spiritual online businesses.

But only for the last 3 years would I say I’ve run a successful business.

You may be thinking, “Well Sam - your income has improved by just getting better at your craft!”

But no… 

While my skills and services & offers have obviously gotten better over time, it doesn’t compare to the revenue leaps I’ve made by incorporating the 5 keys I’m going through today.

Improving your skills are only a fraction of the picture of having a successful & profitable business in this day & age with our global economy fueled by the internet.

For years, I made around $1000/mo manifesting odd situations that allowed that to actually be doable - like free rent & food.

I inched my way up to living on $2500/month for years living in California & Hawaii by being really good at being frugal.

At this time, I was really dealing with my trauma around the rug being pulled out from under me. I wanted to be able to live on nothing because I was terrified of everything being taken away from me.

And I didn’t have anyone else supporting me during this time. I didn’t have a spouse or parent supplementing my income.

Even now that I’m married, I’ve always been the breadwinner.

So for a long time I was making close to minimum wage.

But my truth was that I would rather get paid significantly less than what my degree afforded me then to do work that I thought wasn’t changing the world.

During these first 5 years of business, I inched from making $1,000 to $2,500.

It was when my income shifted from $2500 to $3500/month that I felt a huge different.

That was my threshold. What I needed to bring in to be making end’s meet and not be scraping by.

Your threshold could be double or triple this, but for me, getting up to bringing in $3500/month was the catalyst to realizing I could make way way more.

It was finally “more than enough” for me.

Because I lived frugally, it was the point in which I could think about saving or having some extra money on the side for fun.

In just a few months after that, I tripled that.

And over the next 2 years it exponentially grew.

My business has now sustained over 10X that every month for over a year.

I’ve created consistent growth with even expenses.

The 5 keys I’m about to outline led to that exponential growth.

I KNOW that if I had known these & worked on them at the beginning of my journey, I would’ve grown my business in 2-3 years instead of 10.

Here are the keys:

  1. I’m a business owner not a freelancer

  2. Moving away from hourly pricing

  3. Getting realllly comfortable with sales calls

  4. Focusing on mindset

  5. Finding a cyclic way to set goals and plans to hit those goals & then evaluate how it went
