How does the Heroine’s Journey relate to femininity and business? (2:30)

In the Heroine’s Journey, the heroine goes off on a quest for something outside her. She overcomes external obstacles until she achieves what she deserves. It starts off like the Hero’s Journey – until the Dark Descent. During the Dark Descent, we begin to challenge the internal obstacles in our way. Who are we? What is truly important to us? What did we once care about that is no longer important? Unlocking this dark inner knowing is key to the Heroine’s Journey.

Listen to this episode to hear Eleanor explain how this internal journey can be a beacon that guides us as business owners.

The 3 keys to a feminine business. (15:00)

Eleanor has found that women business owners crave 3 things: cash, influence, and autonomy. She created the Jewel Business Model, which is a model of growth that allows for the creation of cash, influence, and autonomy. In this model, your company has 30% top line revenue growth, 30% profitability, and 30% of your schedule is open time. It’s not about 10x your profit (though it could be). It’s about growing with seasons, periods of slowness as well as periods of growth. It’s about the personal sustainability of the founder, as well as the sustainability of the company.

Making your queendom smaller so that it can become more expansive. (30:00)

As women, we’re socialized to take care of everyone & everything. You have to be better than everyone else while taking care of anyone. This shows up in our business when we hold onto clients who aren’t serving us because we feel guilty to let them go.

Eleanor has an incredible understanding of niching down as making your queendom smaller so that it can become more expansive. Tuning into your body & your energy is a great way to understand which clients you should be working with, and who you are ready to let go of so that you can welcome in more opportunities. This framework of niching down can increase your profits, remove your headaches, and give you a cleaner practice.

Tune in for major insights into how you can make your business more lucrative & get back your time and energy when you niche down.
