Good news: we don’t have nearly as many days in 2021 that are going to be astrologically HUGE as we did in 2020.
This is going to be an all-around easier year in terms of what the planets are doing.
Because many planets will be in air signs, 2021 is a great time to get your systems in order. Donna recommends working half the time on your current projects and the other half on doing deep cleans and tinkering with your systems for maximum efficiency.
We will come together as a collective to work on bigger projects — including some of the biggest issues plaguing our society, like climate change. And together, we will create solutions and new modalities of thinking and existing that will benefit the collective good.
That’s why 2021 is an “all hands on deck” kind of year. Because we’re going to find our strength in making a network and coming together.
After all, you can’t build the pyramids alone.

Overarching themes of 2021
Get your systems in order as we move into the Age of Aquarius
Make sure you can do everything in your business online
Prepare for technological innovation to take off at an even faster pace (and be ready to keep up with it!)
The final weeks of December bring not one but 6 of the 7 visible planets changing signs. Donna has been an astrologer for 30 years and she has never seen 6 planets change signs in such a short period! This is ushering in an enormous shift in our world.
The new energy is going to feel radically different after the Great Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction that happened on December 21.
In 2021, the energy will majorly shift from earth to air. This means a change from being earthy, grounded, and looking at our feet beneath us to being more focused on the big picture, the collective experience, and lofty ideals.
Here’s where you’re going to feel that difference the most:
The speed at which things are changing will be radically faster
Communication will become easier (especially in terms of communicating online and via technology)
Mobility will become more important than ever, not just in physical mobility but also in your own ability to roll with the punches and keep going!
Many different options will emerge on the issues plaguing society, including ones we haven’t thought of before, that we will have to weigh on an individual and collective scale
Your best strategy for going forward in the Age of Aquarius?
Don’t look back. Let go of conservatism and a desire to get back to “how things were.” Instead, focus on embracing new, innovative ideas. This is beneficial to do on a personal level as it is the direction we are moving in societally as well.
Be prepared to keep up with fast movements and flitting around. If you get distracted or have too many irons in the fire, it might be harder on you to stay focused during this period.
Enjoy the freedom the air is going to bring you. Use it wisely. Use it to revamp your systems, especially technological areas of your life. Don’t allow yourself to have so many fires burning that you burn yourself out, or you behave like a sprinkler instead of a laser — giving a little bit to many things instead of giving your all to something you care deeply about.
2021 will be a year of tinkering with the systems you have in place in your business to make them serve you better. That might mean improving your online presence or finding specific websites and tools that can help you do things in less time with less hassle. Accept that your goals might change this year as you improve the processes in your business.
This is also a year when you should work on building good habits — which is really just another system in your life to achieve your goals and be your best self. Working with the planets can be helpful for this because they are cyclical and repetitive.
Environmental Impact of the Age of Aquarius
The shift away from the element of earth and into air signs for many planets will also have us rethinking our relationship to Earth on a larger scale.
Likely we will see more conversation about climate change and its impact on society around the world. We’ll also see an emergence of new tools and technologies that will fundamentally change the way we live, but they will also help us tackle climate change and renewable energy.
The astrology also indicates that batteries will have a boom (think: battery-operated cars) as the technology takes off.
Getting started with astrology
Because 2021 is a great year for developing habits and tinkering with your systems for more efficiency, it’s a great time to get into a rhythm of following the planets.
Donna recommends starting off by working with the moon cycles as your premier use of astrology in 2021.
The year of the mastermind
Things are about to being super airy, which means that you might be hit with big ideas… and as long as you have the right systems and technology in place to make them a reality, this could be great news for your business!
2021 is the year when you should finally start (or finish) the big project you’ve been wanting to do. And, thanks to more mobility and online communication, it’s also a great year to release your ideas out into the world.
That’s why we’re calling 2021 the year of the mastermind.
Void of Course Moons
At the beginning of the year, there will be some long Void of Course (V/C) Moons.
When the moon is Void of Course, that means it is in the process of moving into a new sign and it is not forming any significant meet-ups with other planets. It’s kind of like the moon taking a break from periods of high-intensity in the signs. Energetically, this creates a lack of energy for us such as feeling unproductive, brain fog, and tiredness.
According to Donna, this means there will be a lot of open space and more expansiveness.
During these V/C Moons is a great time to take some time off for a restful break.
Mercury Retrogrades
There’s a Mercury Retrograde every 88 days or so (that’s every 3 months).
In 2021, the dates are:
Mercury ℞ in Aquarius: January 30 - February 21
Mercury ℞ in Gemini: May 29 - June 22
Mercury ℞ in Libra: September 28 - October 18
These Mercury Retrogrades are ideal times to take a break from working full steam ahead on your projects, and instead take some time to evaluate your business. Do the stuff you’ve been putting off and get your systems in order, so that when retrograde is over you can go in with a clean slate.
How are your systems serving you? What could make them better? Are there any obvious time or money sucks?
It’s a great idea to build this “break and evaluate” system into your business plan, so that you have time already set aside every few months to look at what you’re doing, what’s working, and what could be better.

Jupiter in 2021
On December 21, Jupiter entered Aquarius. With that move comes a change in energy to lighten up the mood, be more optimistic, and improve work on our projects and communication.
Jupiter will be in Aquarius for 287 days and Pisces for 78 days.
Jupiter will first enter Pisces on May 13, before it retrogrades out of the sign on July 29. It will then re-enter Pisces on December 28 and stay there through May 2022.
During the time when Jupiter is in Pisces, those are periods of rest, relaxation, and recuperation. Jupiter is home in Pisces, so it wants to put its feet up and not do anything! Donna calls these the “cave months” because you may just find that you want to hide away during them.
Summer 2021
When Jupiter is in Pisces during the summer months, this is also when many other planets go retrograde. This is a time to invest in your home, your space, and get stuff done. Write that book. Create that content from within yourself. Take what you’ve already created and release it into the world.
Take a mid-year break around the summer solstice to recuperate and get your home in order.
Eclipses
There will be two Great Eclipses in 2021.
June 10: Solar eclipse
November 19: Partial lunar eclipse
December 4: Solar eclipse
These eclipses are a great time to do shadow work. And for anyone signed up for Your Best Year Yet, we’re going to send you a worksheet with questions that you can ask yourself during that time to dig deeper!
Donna also predicts that during the summer eclipse over the north pole, we will discover that we’ve hit a tipping point in climate change and it’s going to have huge ripple effects across society.

USA’s Pluto Return
The USA is preparing for its Pluto Return which is not far off in the 2030s.
This means there will be a MASSIVE shift for where we end up in the coming years, and it won’t be clear for some time how that will unfold.
How to Prepare for 2021
The best lesson for you is this: be ready to keep up with fast-paced changes!
According to Donna: “With all this air in the astrology, the challenge that we all face is how to get mobile.”
If you think you can grab onto things and keep them constant… you might find yourself unhappily surprised.
